Ash Box frame made to order. The frame will be bare wood, hand finished with danish oil and wax to give a smooth satin finish. Each corner will have a walnut spline detail as shown in pictures.
This listing is for a bespoke size frame. The reverse aperture size is what you choose. In this instance the aperture is the space in the REVERSE of the frame (not the front) where the artwork sits within the rebate.
***(Please note that if framing artworks that are not mounted the rebate will obscure a minimal amount of the edge of the artwork)***
Measure the picture that you would like framed.
For example a standard A4 piece measures 210mm x 297mm – this is the size that you input into the personalisation field.
We will add 2mm onto each measurement so that the frame will fit the piece perfectly (this is called tolerance).
Please be as accurate as possible with your measurements, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect measurements and we cannot accept returns on this product.
Select from the drop down menu which size frame your artwork size falls into. There are 3 options to choose from - SML, MED, LRG - The SML option is for any size that fits within 30x30cm. The MED option is for any size that is larger than 30x30cm but smaller or equal to 50x50cm. The LRG option is for any size that is larger than 50x50cm but smaller or equal to 70x70cm.
Please do not enter measurements that exceed 70x70cm. If you do your order will be cancelled. Should you require a frame beyond this size please contact us for a custom quote.
Choose from the 'Options' menu to select one of the following options:
- 'Frame Only' (Just the frame sent, great for works on canvas or board)
- 'Glass & Backing' (this option includes a white spacer automatically, examples can be seen in the last couple of images)
- 'Add Mountboard' (this option includes glass, backing, white spacers and a mount board cut to size).
LRG orders that select 'Glass & Backing' will be sent acrylic glass NOT standard glass.
Hanging materials will be added to every order. All our frames are designed to be hung on the wall. If you would like a frame stand please contact us directly.

This is done for reference in our workshop and does not affect the visible aesthetic of the frame. We cannot accept refunds or returns based on this reason.
