The English Cassetta is elegant, timeless and architectural. Made from traditionally carved wood, it is a frame that feels refined without being flashy which is perfect when you want the frame to elevate the artwork without competing with it. 
 
The English Cassetta frame has a wide, flat front surface which includes subtle step-ins and step-outs near the inner and outer edges, and the centre panel is smooth and uninterrupted. 
 
***The frame width is 94mm***
 
This listing is for a bespoke size unfinished wood picture frame. The aperture size is what you choose. In this instance the aperture is the space in the REVERSE of the frame (not the front) where the artwork sits within the rebate. 
 
***(Please note that if framing artworks that are not mounted the rebate will obscure a minimal amount of the edge of the artwork)***
 
Measure the picture that you would like framed.
 
For example a standard A4 piece measures 210mm x 297mm – this is the size that you input into the personalisation field. 
 
We will add 2mm onto each measurement so that the frame will fit the piece perfectly (this is called tolerance). 
 
Please be as accurate as possible with your measurements, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect measurements and we cannot accept returns on this product.
 
Select from the drop down menu which size frame your artwork size falls into (be sure to select the correct width of frame - 50mm or 70mm). There are 3 options to choose from - SML, MED, LRG - The SML option is for any size that fits within 30x30cm. The MED option is for any size that is larger than 30x30cm but smaller or equal to 50x50cm. The LRG option is for any size that is larger than 50x50cm but smaller or equal to 70x70cm. 
 
Please do not enter measurements that exceed 70x70cm. If you do your order will be cancelled. Should you require a frame beyond this size please contact us for a custom quote. 
 
Add glass and backing cut to size to your order by making the selection from our drop down 'Options' menu. For LRG orders acrylic glass will be provided instead of standard glass. All our frames are designed to be wall hung, hanging materials will be included in every order. If you would like hanging materials installed on the frame please include the orientation of your artwork in the personalisation field otherwise they will be sent separately in the package.

***When ordering frames with glazing please be very careful when unpacking. Do not unpack with children present. If you suspect that the glass may be damaged inside the package DO NOT OPEN and contact us directly. 
 
***All frames purchased with the intention of finishing (painting/staining) at home that include glass, please be advised that we do our best to make sure that the glass can be removed with ease from the frame however sometimes this is not always possible as our main priority is to ensure that the items reach you in perfect condition. Glass must be secure in the frame to prevent breakage in transit. We cannot accept responsibility for any issues that may arise from not being able to remove the glass from the frame. If the glass is difficult to remove our suggestion is to leave the glass in place and using masking tape to tape up the front to ensure that products used to finish the frame do not end up on the glass. 
 
***We also do not advise that any of our picture frames are suitable for children or for rooms specifically for children, this is a risk taken at your own discretion and is not our responsibility. 
 
***Please note that as these frames are bespoke sizes and made to order you may find that there may be notes written on the reverse of the frame regarding the size. This is done for reference in our workshop and does not affect the visible aesthetic of the frame. We cannot accept refunds or returns based on this reason.
 
***We reserve the right to delay the dispatch date of any and all made to order frames. This can be due to supply issues or any other reason that is beyond our control. We will do our best to update all customers should any issues arise but rest assured we are always doing our best to complete your orders as efficiently as possible.
